Sam Osherson is a psychotherapist and author. He says many Jews see their identity in negative terms: a history of oppression, a sense of guilt and obligation. He says it doesn't have to be that way - that Judaism can be a source of joy, fulfillment and purpose. That's the message of his book, "Rekindling the Flame" which just came out in paperback.
