A new state-funded website dispels a myth in the North Country.

That myth is that businesses can't get high speed internet access.

A survey of 507 New Hampshire businesses found that 75 percent of them didn't know that high speed options, including T-1 lines, are available to them.

Greg Franklin, with the consulting firm Greg S. Franklin Associates, did the research and put together the website for the state.

He tells NHPR's Trish Anderton that while the emphasis has been on wiring the state for high speed access, a lot of access already exists.

The state website is www.technologynh.com
