The Science of Baseball

Jim Sherwood lives in Barrington. He's the director of the Baseball Research Center at the University of Massachusetts-Lowell. A few years ago, he did the official study that looked into the "lively ball" controversy in major league baseball. He also tests wood and metal bats for the pro and college games.
