Mandatory Auto Insurance

New Hampshire is one of only four states that doesn't mandate drivers to carry insurance on their vehicles. But a new bill in the House (HB563) would require proof of insurance from anyone registering their car. Opponents of the proposal say New Hampshire already has a low percentage of uninsured drivers, and that such legislation is unnecessary.
