Book Clubbing
By Virginia Prescott on Wednesday, August 12, 2009.
But times have changed, and the onus of selling books has shifted to the author. Joshua Henkin wrote the novel Matrimony back in 2007. And he’s found that getting his book into the hands of readers is not just a phrase. Henkin will drive up to two hours, one-way, to discuss his novel at your home with your book club. Between visits and phone-ins, he’s led discussions with more than 175 groups. He joined us on the line from his home in Brooklyn to tell us about his literary road show.
