Question for Gloria Barsamian - could she discuss steps to take to prepare parents prior to illness? IE - getting estate planning documents in order; look at assisted living facilities, etc.
Gloria Barsamian is my aunt and I am very proud of her for writing this book!

I sent in comment right after broadcast. Not sure why it did not get in.
so I am sending from another e-mail. Taking care of parents can add so muchmore to you expenses every year and with the downslide in the economy I no longer can afford this. I am worried that the Obama Plan may not include me as I get to old age. Wonderful topic and what I learned was that I should have been taking to my parents long before they got ill. I will talk to my children because of this. Thank you very much.
I am a Hospice Nurse Abby, and this topic is of great concern to so many of us Baby Boomers.
I've taken care of my Mother who died of Cancer, then my Mother- in- Law who died of Alzheimers. I'm continuing my Hospice Endeavour so that no Patient, or Family member goes without the knowledge and understanding of the End Of Life. I do this as a tribute to both my mother and mother in law. Keep up the good work that you are doing Abby.
