The 48 Hour Film Project
By Todd Bookman on Monday, June 22, 2009.
On June 12th, 24 teams began a mad dash to create four-to-seven minute long films. The teams drew a genre out of a hat and built a film around a local landmark, prop, and a character saying the line, "Don’t just stand there, move it!" Which aptly sums up the experience. The completed movies will have their premier screening tonight in Londonderry. You can purchase tickets here, or watch previous years' entries here. About usWord of Mouth is all about what's new. Online and on-air, the show looks at our fascinating and ever-changing world, and puts the latest ideas under a microscope. Word of Mouth investigates everything from science and technology, to health and the environment, to new trends in popular culture. The show airs Monday through Thursday at noon and is hosted by Virginia Prescott. Contact usSay what you want to say. How you want to say it. We want to hear from you. I participated in a 48 Hour film in SF years ago and am thrilled to see this come to the Granite State!
