Outsourced Online Dating

By Zach Johnk on Wednesday, June 10, 2009.

Lots of people have assistants to take their calls, run their errands, and plan their day. Now you can hire an assistant for your love life as well. Between eHarmony, Match.com and a myriad of other online dating sites, it can be tough to keep your online romances in check.

Now busy male professionals can hire their own virtual dating assistants. For $480 a month, "007" dating agents pose as their clients on dating websites to interact with women and pique their interest. Before the first in-person meeting, the assistants brief their harried client on how they have been wooing his date online. She, meanwhile, remains none the wiser. How the women will react is yet to be seen. No word, either, on an equivalent service for them.
