Cap and Trade Goes National

By Laura Knoy on Wednesday, June 10, 2009.

It’s a system where businesses pay for the right to emit carbon, and it's already been in effect the Northeast for some time. Now, a climate change bill working its way thru Congress could set up a national cap-and-trade system. But critics warn the approach is a burden for companies and doesn’t do enough to combat global warming.

Cap & Trade

This whole system will just replace the "cash cow" that Fannie & Freddy formerly gave to our "elite political class." MILLIONS will go to their re-election campaigns.
So far, no one has mentioned yet that this legislation will add about $1400 a YEAR for the average family. BOTH SIDES agree this will happen.
Why no mention of this fact today on the air? BOTH SIDES now admit the advanatgaes are minimal to none at the end of tHe day. CHINA SAYS no way they will participate. The private sector will "do what needs to be done" over time anyway. Count on it. HUGE CHANGES in energy will result ANYWAY in the next 30 years.
VOTE NO on Cap & Trade! Call or email our NH Congressional guys today!
