I was listening to the program this morning on my way to work at the Meredith Public Library. The word 'turbine' caught my attention because it was mispronounced. It was being said as turban which is worn on the head as opposed to turbine which is an engine that creates power.
according to the dictionary there are two correct ways to pronounce 'turbine' one: turbin or tur-bahyn (sounds like bine). Thanks.
