New Life for Workforce Housing

A recent law tells New Hampshire cities and towns to make more room for housing aimed at people of moderate means, allowing them to live closer to their jobs! But it’s not as easy as it might sound: zoning ordinances need to be reexamined and new approaches to expand housing options researched. We’ll check in on how communities are doing. Guests

Workforce Housing is not low income housing. Communities like Stratham and Greenland, that border cities with a wider economic base (Portsmouth & Exeter) need to supply affordable housing for the employees of the hubs that the bedroom communities utilize and benefit from.
