This Weekend: Alice Peacock in Portsmouth

By Virginia Prescott on Thursday, February 26, 2009.

If you’re looking for some fresh entertainment to start your weekend, musician Alice Peacock will bring her country-tinged pop-rock sound to the Dolphin Striker in Portsmouth Friday night. The Chicago-based singer-songwriter will perform tracks off her fourth album, Love Remains. Recorded in Nashville, Alice’s take on country recalls the golden age of singer-songwriter pop - think Linda Ronstadt in the 70's.
