Donald Murray is a writer and retired faculty member at the University of New Hampshire. His newest book, "My Twice Lived Life," is an unflinching review of his life. He writes about his abusive childhood, service in World War II, the ups and downs of career and family, a near fatal heart attack, and the pleasures and terrors of old age.
