2012: Science or Superstition?
By Virginia Prescott on Wednesday, December 31, 2008.
We’re continuing our year-end discussion on visions of the apocalypse. Not to scare you, but to explore why so many traditions invoke the end of the world in troubled times. One growing movement points precisely to the culmination of history as we know it on December 21, 2012, or 12/21/12. On January 4, The History Channel airs Nostradamus: 2012, speculating on prophesies by the 16th century French apothecary. A 2012 feature film by The Day after Tomorrow director Roland Emmerich is due out next summer, and a new documentary called 2012: Science or Superstition? features the naysayers, as well as supporters who foretell not cataclysm, but the dawn of a new era of enlightened human consciousness. John Major Jenkins is among those featured in the film. He is author of Maya Cosmogenesis 2012 among other books, and one of the leading voices of the 2012 theory. He's known for fine-tuning the galactic alignment theory relating to 12/21/12. He explains that he doesn’t regard this as a horrific collapse of the world, though, but a time of transformation and renewal. if the the Mayan calendar ended Dec 21, 2012 how does that mean the Earth is going to end
There was once a distant planet called Earth,
that came to existence when God gave birth.
For Centuries that's the story being told,
pounded in the heads, of all young and old.
If this is a book speaking of what is true,
what are we the humans really supposed to do?
We're on a path of destruction and hate,
now lead by the UN and not lead by fate.
With the possible end of Earth in our sights,
the Government want's to take "all" of our rights.
The Constitution that we have used as our guide,
has now been corrupted and new laws we'll abide.
Freedom of speech and expression will soon be gone,
and will millions gather on the White House Lawn?
Most will probably sit by the television and wait,
while Multy-National Corporations decide their fate.
God did not put me here for others to control,
that is a fictitious story that the media has sold.
You have been conditioned to believe what you here,
from the little black box that is always so near.
The little black box of evil lies and deceptions,
has trained you all well with very few exceptions.
Those who understand the game of that little box,
will not be stuck in this in this so-called paradox.
Someone once said the truth will set you Free,
But that's nothing that you'll see on TV!
