Newsmakers of the Year 2008: Jeanne Shaheen Elected To Senate

One the busiest political years in New Hampshire history wrapped up on Election Night in November. It was a big year for Democrats, as Granite State voters reelected Governor John Lynch and both Democratic members of Congress. They also gave the state's electoral votes to Barack Obama and chose the state's first woman U.S. Senator, Jeanne Shaheen.
