Londonderry officials have taken on the battle against sprawl….and have begun an effort to preserve open space.
An influx of new residents….accelerated by the high-tech boom of the 1990s…has resulted in a wave of commercial development.
Town officials don’t want to fall behind the times.
But they don’t want to lose the rural charm people came for in the first place.
NHPR Correspondent Carolyn D’Aquila reports.
