The age of the clipper ship was brief but spectacular. Although tall ships went out of favor a long time ago, they are still an inspiring sight. He heads the Shining Sea Foundation, an organization that he formed to build a new clipper ship for the United States. The Shining Sea Foundation web site is www.shining-sea.org.
