Vermont May Cut Budget

State budgets are beginning to feel the effects of the economic slowdown. Early last week New Hampshire Governor Jeanne Shaheen told state officials to prepare for possible budget cuts. And in Vermont, lawmakers and the governor are facing the prospect of cutting millions of dollars from a budget that just last year was projecting multi-million dollar surpluses. NHPR Correspondent Chris Bracken has more.
