Congressman Hodes,
Thank you for your service in this difficult time. Recovering the US as well as global economy is extremely important but leaders should never forget helping average and below average citizens, not only in a short term but also in the long term. Do you think Congress has the leadership in this crisis to reform the health-care and its insurance system as well as achieving energy sufficiency? And how should citizens should contribute in these efforts?
I 'd like to thank Mr. Hodes for his recent NO votes on the bailout. It should not take a 9 to 1 slant on an overloaded capitol switchboard in the middle of campaign season for citizens to feel represented in Congress. Does Mr. Hodes support HR676, as a majority of doctors do? And does he think the populist voices in the House, both Democrat and Republican, can compete with their corporatist party leadership?
