Drum roll please... the winners in the 2008 Summer Car raffle are:

First prize: William and Jeannie Dismukes of Newbury. They win the 2008 Toyota Prius!

Second prize: Curtis and Jane Hoffman of Rye. They win the Vespa LX50 scooter!

Third prize: Alexandra Contosta and Colin Lawson of Durham. They win the Giant Tran Send Commuter Bike!

Update 8/4: As requested in the comments, here are some additional stats. NHPR sold 6,117 tickets for a total of $306,000 – the most successful Summer Car Raffle ever! Thank you for supporting NHPR!

Congratulations winners! When I heard the radio spot with lady who won last year talking about her Prius I thought I'd missed this years raffle. Well, I didn't win, but I feel good knowing I supported such a wonderful staion which I listen to everyday. Ther's always next year!
