NH Supreme Court rules on Illegal Detentions

The New Hampshire Supreme Court yesterday overturned the 1999 conviction of a man arrested for possession of marijuana.
The justices ruled the police officer illegally detained the defendant, while the officer searched the suspect and his car.
To make sense of the high court?s ruling, NHPR?s Mark Bevis turned to Franklin Pierce Law School professor Buzz Scherr.
