Are You Cutting Down on Water Use?

By Andrew Walsh on Wednesday, April 30, 2008.

Thursday on Word of Mouth, we talk with reporter Matthew Power about the global water shortage. Matthew's article Peak Water appears in the May issue of Wired Magazine.

Matthew traveled to three cities in very different parts of the world to see how governments, farmers and businesses are dealing with a diminishing water supply.

You tell us: What's the water situation where you live? Are you seeing the effects of water shortages in your life? Is someone you know dealing with them?

What do you do to cut down on water use? And what can the rest of us do to help?
