Having studied this subject at length, including details of the 1939 case, I strongly feel that the death penalty should be upheld and expanded to include the murder of children and rape victims. Efforts to improve the justice system should be focused on shrinking the huge prison bureacracy, alternative punishments for non-violent offenders, and unjust or unequal jail time for offenders.

First I listened to the whole show and was somewhat disgusted with the panelists. Someone called in and made a good comment about one of the panelist comments stating that the death sentence is just like slavery. |
