Republican presidential contender Rudy Giuliani attracted about 100 people to a town hall meeting in Hudson where he spoke about immigration, a strong defense and tax reform.

It was a relatively small but lively crowd.

The former Mayor of New York City promised that as president he would reinforce the military, stem illegal immigration and work with Democrats to get things done in Washington.

Several voters who attended the speech said they were still undecided.

But 37-year-old Rod McCory from Weare says he’s committed to a vote for Giuliani because of his stance on immigration.

McCory said that Giuliani would be committed as president to build a high-tech wall between the US and Mexico.

“And you know he said many things about the wall it’s going to be manned sensors I guess showing people coming within miles I just think the physical wall itself is you know the biggest.”

McCory added that Giuliani’s lackluster poll numbers in the state won’t affect his vote. He expects to see a turnaround over the next few months.
