As I was out this afternoon

As I was out this afternoon chopping ice off my driveway, it occurred to me that the NH Primary is like this lovely January thaw we are having: the electorate has softened up, mellowed out, is CHANGING, and we may be on the cusp of electing an African American, or a woman to the Presidency. The snows of December have been hiding a groundswell in all of us for hope, for renewal, for new possibilities. I am proud of the NH electorate.
