New Hampshire Newsmakers of the Year: The New Hampshire Primary

With over twenty major candidates making a bid for the White House, the New Hampshire primary has almost certainly been the biggest story of the year. But this year the story of the primary had more to do with just Democrats and Republicans stumping and debating. 2007 marked one of the most serious threats to the state's first-in-the-nation tradition. It began with multiple challenges from other states and the Democratic National Committee changing the calendar. But it ended - as it always has - with a victory for the Granite State.
