Campaigning in Henniker Wednesday Republican Mitt Romney said he's not concerned that two of the state's largest newspapers are calling him inauthentic.

On Sunday the Concord Monitor said Mitt Romney is a "phony"; now the New Hampshire Union Leader is labeling him "insincere."

Speaking to reporters, the former Massachusetts governor said he wasn't concerned by the criticism.

"There are some that will look at old quotes and perhaps take them out of context, or perhaps not, but go back fourteen years or fifteen years and say, well, you said this here, you said that there. But if you look at my record as governor, there's no change, you want to know what I'd do as president, you could see what I did as governor."

Romney went on to criticize Arizona Senator John McCain, who recent polls have shown to be Romney's main local rival.

Romney noted he's been happy to talk about times he's been wrong, but hasn't heard McCain do the same in respect to his changing positions on the president's tax cuts and illegal immigration.
