Republican presidential candidate Ron Paul campaigned on familiar themes during a stop at the University of New Hampshire Friday.

The ten-term Texas Congressman brought his message of strict adherence to the Constitution to a packed audience at UNH.

Paul talked about ending the war in Iraq, abolishing the Internal Revenue Service and ending the Patriot Act.

Paul also made it clear what the role of the federal government should be.

"Essentially none, other than the fact that they ought to protect the people from outside invasion and make sure the people can do what they want with their own lives - protect liberty, that's their role."

When asked about global warming, Paul said that the federal government shouldn't impose strict pollution controls until global warming is shown to be man-made and not a natural, cyclical occurrence.
