Republican Ron Paul was in New Hampshire today.
The visit is the Texas congressman's first since raising more than 4 million dollars earlier this week.
New Hampshire Public Radio's Josh Rogers has more.
Ron Paul's return comes two days after raking in 4.3 million dollars from 38 thousand individual donors, all in a 24 hour period, the most successful single-day fundraising effort in GOP presidential history.
Paul remains in the single digits in national and local polls, but he says the surge in donations proves his antiwar, pro-liberty message, and that he has more momentum than any candidate on either side of the ticket.
"And even we don't know how powerful this spontaneous organization can become. The real test is whether it will be translated into votes."
Paul says more than half the contributions came from first-time donors. He says the money will help him promote his ideas, and says his largely volunteer-driven campaign, which has seven local staffers, has already begun to hire more workers in early voting states.
