Presidential hopeful Bill Richardson says other democratic candidates should rein in some of their criticisms of Hillary Clinton.
New Hampshire Public Radio's Josh Rogers has more.
Bill Richardson says he regrets the tone taken by Barack Obama and John Edwards in their criticism of Hillary Clinton. Both have lately assailed the Democratic frontrunner for taking campaign contributions from lobbyists.
"Some of the leading candidates are calling Senator Clinton's integrity into question, that she's tied to special interests - that's the kind of attacks we don't need.
"On the issues, on Social Security, on troops in Iraq, I have a difference with her. But the tone should not be personally negative."
The Clinton campaign has also taken issue with Obama and Edwards, pointing out that they accept contributions from workers at companies that either lobby or employ lobbyists.
Bill Richardson trails Clinton, Obama and Edwards in local polls, but predicts a top three finish in the first in the nation primary.
