The Colorado Congressman says he’s running primarily to stop illegal immigration.

Tancredo says he knows he’s a bit of a long shot, but he’s taken heart from the Colorado Rockies victory on Monday.

"In April, the Rockies were too hurt for a team. And in August, they were just - they couldn't put it together. In September, they were too far behind. And look what happens, right? We win the pennant last night."

Congressman Tancredo says illegal immigration is having a corrosive effect on America’s economy and culture.

But a recent UNH Poll shows his message has yet to resonate with many New Hampshire Republicans.

He was tied for dead last in the GOP field with only one percent of likely voters supporting him.
