Presidential candidate Hillary Clinton has captured the endorsement of half of the state's Democratic senators.

New Hampshire Public Radio's Dan Gorenstein has more.

Web resources:

Tuesday, Durham's Iris Estabrook became the seventh state senator to announce her support for New York Senator Hillary Clinton.

She joins Senators Maggie Hassan, Betsy DeVries, Kathy Sgambati, Molly Kelly, Deb Reynolds and Senate President Sylvia Larsen.

Of the remaining seven, three support former North Carolina Senator John Edwards - Peter Burling, Joe Foster and David Gottesman.

Martha Fuller Clark, Jackie Cilley and Harold Janeway have thrown their support to Illinois Senator Barack Obama.

The only Democratic senator that has yet to endorse a presidential candidate is the five-term Senator from Manchester, Lou D'Allesandro.
