Assessing the Surge

Next week, President Bush will give his much anticipated update on whether increased U.S. troop levels in Iraq have improved security there. We’ll look at the journey the President’s policy has taken since January…its impacts on the ground…and on the national political debate raging over whether to stay in Iraq.
