Democrat John Edwards is stressing a new line argument as he travels though New Hampshire - that the Washington establishment is corrupt, and that his front-running Democratic rivals won't fix the problem.

New Hampshire Public Radio's Josh Rogers has more.

At every stop Edwards called Washington a rigged system that favors the powerful.

Speaking in Keene, Edwards said as president, he wouldn't negotiate with industry lobbyists and called on all Washington Democrats to forego taking campaign contributions from D.C. lobby groups.

"If we're going to trade one group of corporate insiders for another group of corporate insiders, nothing will change. We've got to decide whether we're going to be about the past, or whether we're going to be about the future. It's that simple."

At a stop in Hanover, Edwards invoked a Clinton-era scandal by noting that Americans deserve to know the Lincoln Bedroom is not for sale.

Edwards also had a go at Illinois Senator Barack Obama, another candidate running on a message of change, by suggesting Obama's campaign platform lacks detail.

John Edwards has the best

John Edwards has the best plans and solutions for the middle class. However, the corporate media is part of the Washington Establishment - therefore Edwards has been smeared from the gitgo while the media hypes a 2 yr senator as a rockstar and promotes Hillary whose campaign is funded by Rupert Murdoch.
The informed don't rely on the corporate media to shape their opinions about the candidates - and it's obvious to the informed that John Edwards is the ONE candidate offering substance - not gimmicks and platitudes.
John Edwards will be a great president!
