Dear New Hampshire Public

Dear New Hampshire Public Radio:

Let me introduce myself to you. My name is Roberta Gallant
and I reside in Concord, New Hampshire. I have a learning
disability. I am a former resident of the Laconia State
School and Training Center, the institution for people
with mental retardation.

On Thursday, July 26, 2007, I participate in the StoryCorps
mobile booth to tell my story about my life at the Laconia
State School and Training Center. I was glad to have participated
in StoryCorps then. Telling an interviewee a story about my life
at Laconia State School gave me a wonderful opportunity to speak
my mind!

StoryCorps is a fantastic interviewing program. I love the program!
