Jim Grant: The Death of Common Sense in Our Classrooms

Jim Grant is an international education consultant, educator and popular author. His mission to stop school failure began four decades ago when he served as both a principal and teacher. That mission also led Jim to found Staff Development for Educators, the nation's leading provider of professional development training, where he currently serves as the executive director. Jim has also authored and co-authored over 25 books, including the best-selling Differentiated Instruction: Different Strategies for Different Learners, The More Ways You Teach, the More Students You Reach, and If You're Riding a Horse and It Dies, Get Off. His latest book, The Death of Common Sense in Our Schools, will be released in July 2007.
