Iowa's radio and television stations are raking in the final fistfuls of dollars from Democratic presidential candidates as the campaigns implore Iowans to support them at tonight's precinct caucuses. The airwaves are still dominated with Howard Dean's face and voice, Iowa First Lady Christie Vilsack's endorsement of Sen. John Kerry and images of Sen. John Edwards and Rep. Dick Gephardt.

We'd had the coldest day of the new year and, if memory serves, the whole winter. The low in Des Moines was -2 with a wind chill in the -20 range. It would've been five to 10 degrees colder in other parts of the state. Temps are expected to top out in the low to mid-teens. That's not going to stop Iowa Democrats from turning out at the caucuses. The candidates have been drawing big crowds in these final days. The excitement is real. And in just a few hours we're going to get our first official reading of what real, honest-to-goodness, everyday Democrats think about their party's presidential field. Say what you will about the candidates or even the process, tonight is going to be one for the books! Wherever you are, you'll want to tune in for this one.
