And the results are.....
This morning I decided to hold a mini-poll to see what the results would be. Now keep in mind that I work within a social service organization so we may not be totally representative of the general population but of the 12 individuals (11 females; 1 male) who participated in the selection of a candidate, 5 selected Dean; 4 selected Edwards; 2 for Kerry; 1 for Gephardt. The outcome seems pretty consistent with other polls being taken!
An interesting observation is that within the last 10 days, folks around me have quit talking. It appears the decided voters are wearing the appropriate candidate buttons. All others continue to be undecided but really do not want to discuss it. Also, while I heard enthusiasm for the caucus at the beginning, I am not hearing that from the undecideds, only the ones who know for sure their candidate of choice. I'll be interested to see if this scenario is reflected Monday night and reflected through attendance at the caucus.

Guess your mini-poll was
Guess your mini-poll was just a little off? Being an independent, I kinda of see the Iowa Caucus as "The Iowa Compromise", instead of the Democrates picking the best candidate, they picked the one that can most easly beat Bush. Guess thats one way of going after the white house, but I think its one that will backfire in the end (although I have been wrong before). Oh well, its on to New Hampshire...
