Only 15 days left to the NH Primary
Signs are popping up everywhere - I can hardly walk down Elm Street in Manchester without walking through a group of supporters of one candidate or another! Last Sunday I came home to 5 different sets of literature from 3 different candidate (Reps for Kerry actually came twice) - I am getting CD's explaining positions - and telephone calls daily!
I am still frustrated with some of the responses I am getting from regular working folk like me as to who they are looking at in the Primary. I am really amazed at the number of people I have talked to that say they don't vote in the national elections - that they do notfeel that their vote matters!!!! I seem to be spending most of my time encouraging others just to vote - nevermind who they may consider voting for and why -
I believe MY vote counts and I am sorting through all the "stuff" to vote for the candidate that I think not only best represnts my values and beliefs but lso has a good chance (once all the others get behind him/her) of beating George Bush in November!

Pat, I have often wondered
Pat, I have often wondered how anyone can say with a straight face that they have never voted or as in the case of your friends never voted in a national election. On the rare occasion I missed getting to the poles on time for a school board or tax levy vote I feel really guilty. If my 'side' lost by a narrow margin---there haven't been many landslides lately---I would have no one to blame but myself.
Have you seen much crossover from the other party?
I noticed Sunday that there were a number of people who were interested in Kupcinich.
Boggles the mind doesn't
