Delegates to Democratic Convention in Boston

Last Saturday I participated in a caucus that elected 4 female and 3 male Delegates from Region 1 in New Hampshire to represent Gephardt at the Democratic Convention in Boston. This was a first for me. Not only a very interesting opportunity to learn more about the process but to talk to people too.

Of course I was talking to only Gephardt supporters and able to gather more information about him but in the process one person I talked to was able to sum up for me what I have been feeling about Howard Dean all along - I was one of those people that just could not warm up to him, but this non-union person I talked to said it all - that Dean reminded him of the kid who was always picked on at school and always said just wait and see, when he grew up he'd show them! I see that little kid in him too.
