Is Gephardt losing the support of New Hampshire teamsters?

I know at least one Teamster who is very dissapointed in Gephardt's lack of presense in New Hampshire over the past few months. After the general membership came out here in "Live Free or Die NH" in support of Gephardt, going door to door, putting up signs, making call after call there seems to be some hurt feelings that he (Gephardt) gave up on New Hampshire some time ago and focused his energies on Iowa. I actually heard this person say he might vote for Kerry!

You have got to be joking.

You have got to be joking. Try checking your facts before you post something like that. Do you mean to tell us that a Teamster would side with a guy that fought for NAFTA on the Senate floor? Or rather, that a Teamster would help a man that voted to send that very Teamster's job to Mexico? Please do not insult our intelligence. Gephardt will win in Iowa, surprise everyone in New Hampshire with 2nd or 3rd and then take South Carolina. Mr. Gephardt is the true friend of the everyday working American and he will beat Bush.

Right on, Tim! And don't

Right on, Tim! And don't forget our victories in Missouri and probably Oklahoma, Arizona, etc.

A teamster thinking for himself?! Somebody report that person to the Union! Shoot him! How dare a person think for themself when their brilliant Union has done all their thinking for them. Vote Gephardt. Or else!

I apologize if I gave the

I apologize if I gave the impression that all members of a union will follow their leadership, George. What I meant is that it's clear for a Teamster (or for almost anyone beside George W. Bush and John Kerry and Howard Dean for that matter) that Dick is their best choice.

On every thing else Dick is heads and shoulders above Kerry. He is the most electable of the Democrats coming from Missouri and a champion of working families and fair trade - big issues in the Rust Belt, the swing states of 2004.

And Gephardt has been to New Hampshire almost as many times as Lieberman - a guy who's virtually living there since he gave up on Iowa.
