Here are some comments I hear from colleagues:

Illegals are coming here for jobs. If you make it impossible to hire an illegal then illegals will go home. (My employer made me pee into a cup to check for drugs, they checked my credit report, and they contacted references)

On the politics:

Republicans like immigration because it holds down wages.

Democrats like immigration because immigrants who become naturalized vote Democrat.

We are observers of a process in which these two contenders try to get what they want while obstructing their adversary. objectives

America's underclass is pitted against the displaced and desperate of the third world for entry level jobs.

Should we have open borders as long as there is some less congenial place to live in the world?
