Obsessions come in different forms. We're going to look at two forms of it during this program. Author Thomas Christopher Greene writes about a young man's obsession for a beautiful girl in his new murder/thriller "Envious Moon." We'll look at how issues of class and violence play out in obsessives ways in a fiction way.
Also in the show, a report about a real man whose obsession has led him to collect more than 1,000 pairs of Nike basketball shoes. Reporter Dan Epstein visits the curiously meticulous home of sneaker fiend Jos Mansell. The story comes to us from the Public Radio Exchange.

We'll also hear another PRX story about being obsessed by having technology on the brain for producer Joan Schuman.
