The state campaign headquarters for Democratic presidential hopeful John Edwards was officially opened today in Manchester.
NHPR correspondent Brian Early reports.
John Edwards didn't appear at the grand opening, but his wife, Elizabeth, and about fifty people did.
She noted that President Bush will veto the Iraq spending bill that calls for a withdrawl of troops within a year.
Elizabeth called on Congress not to budge.
"There is no prohibition for sending back exactly the same bill with exactly the same timetable. And if he vetoes that one, to send back another bill with the same timetable. A courageous Senate and Congress would be doing, would be sending back precisely the same bill again."
The former North Carolina Senator voted for the use of force in Iraq in 2002, but has since called that vote a mistake.
Edwards currently polls in third place in New Hampshire behind Senators Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama.
