Another presidential hopeful opened his campaign office in Manchester.

NHPR correspondent Brian Early reports.

Web resources:

Tom Tancredo, a Republican U.S. Representative from Colorado, has one reoccurring theme in this campaign - stopping illegal immigration.

He supports stricter enforcement of current immigration laws.

He opposes giving work visas to illegal immigrants.

"You know, I know there's a lot of talk. Often times I hear this thing about, 'well, he's a one-issue candidate.' You say I'm a one-issue candidate? Well, at least I have one."

61 year old Tancredo is a former junior high teacher and a native of Denver. He has served in the U.S. Department of Education under President Ronald Reagan and the first Bush Administration.

Though Tancredo has not officially announced his bid for the presidency, he admitted the opening of his office is a good sign that he will.
