Presidential candidate Democratic Senator Hillary Clinton campaigns in Manchester, Nashua and Keene today.
Yesterday, she drew large crowds in Berlin and Concord.
New Hampshire Public Radio's Jon Greenberg has more.
Over 1700 people filled the Concord High School gymnasium to hear Senator Clinton. Many of them had good memories of her husband, President Bill Clinton, and she played to that, using some of his catchphrases: "The government should stand by those who work hard and play by the rules"; "Abortion should be safe, legal and rare."
She was challenged on her 2002 vote authorizing military action in Iraq, but she said at the time she didn't believe President Bush would, in her words, "so misuse the power he'd been given."
The crowd came to its feet when she labeled the Bush Iraq policy as "arrogant and incompetent."
Afterward, Linda Zollo of Concord left feeling better about the candidate than when she arrived:
"I sort of had a negative feeling about her, maybe more personally, and I think she came off as warm, intelligent, strong, and able to handle the job."
Senator Clinton said Washington should increase student grants to make college more affordable.
On health care, she said everyone should have insurance, but did not say how to bring that about.
