We continue today with our conversations with the departing and incoming members of Congress.

Yesterday we heard from Republican Jeb Bradley, who lost his re-election bid on November 7th.

Next, we hear from Republican Charles Bass, who met an identical fate.

Bass served in Congress for 12 years.

He first went to Washington as a member of the Republican Revolution, the historic turnover that ended 40 years of Democratic control of the house.

NHPR's Jon Greenberg spoke with Representative Bass in his dining room.
