NHPR offers live streams of our on-air content, 24 hours a day, in Windows Media and MP3 formats.
Having trouble with our live stream? Here are a few tips on troubleshooting.
- The stream may be at capacity - unlike on-air broadcasting, which sends the same amount of signal out regardless of how many people are listening, online streaming has a maximum number of connections. Once we reach the limit, the stream is full. This happens most often during morning hours.
- The stream has a time limit - The stream will reset itself after two hours, to save bandwidth. To keep listening, simply reload the stream.
- The stream works best with updated software - if you haven't updated your media player or browser lately, here's a set of links that might help:
