This week saw the death of another New Hampshire soldier in Iraq.

Marine Lance Corporal Ryan McCaughn died Tuesday, reportedly from a bomb blast.

McCaughn, a resident of Manchester, brings to 20 the number of soldiers from New Hampshire who have died in the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.

His body is on its way back to the states.

Currently New Hampshire also has about 175 National Guard troops in the Middle East.

Most of them are with the 36-43rd Company.

Each week New Hampshire Public Radio has been talking with one of the Company's soldiers to find out how they're getting along.

Today NHPR's Mark Bevis speaks with National Guard Specialist Lisa Knight.
