Musician Grayson Capps
By Liz Bulkley on Thursday, October 19, 2006.
Grayson Capps blends the soul and sensibility of New Orleans with music that's somewhere between Tom Waits and Hank Williams. He sings about booze, tramps and love -- whether it's the love of a woman or something more ethereal. Grayson is bringing his gritty blues folk up north for some gigs in New Hampshire and Vermont this weekend. He and his band join us on the Front Porch tonight for an in-studio performance.

Here's a couple links to a video I shot of the performance. It was so great to see them in that setting and watch them try to contain a good case of whoop-ass!!!
Good luck guys on the rest of the tour. Penuche's was great!!!
A huge Thanks to Liz, Andrew, Nate and the rest of the gang at NHPR for such amazing programming and for letting me sit in on the session! You guys were really great! It's amazing to watch you work! I had a lot of fun and it seems like you do too.
Best regards!
